Walking the Great Wall for Mia

Mia is my daughters friend who is beautiful. She has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and has difficulty walking. She doesn’t moan or complain – she just gets on with it – with a lot of chatter, fun and energy.

John is Walking the Great Wall ( I don’t think all of it ) for 10 days in October and is looking to raise over £3000 for The Jennifer Trust which helps families cope with the challenges of having a child with SMA. A friend of mine, Richard Butchins helped to put together this video which explains a bit more.

If you don’t feel able to directly support Mia then maybe you can try GIVING FOR FREE via www.everyclick.com. This a search engine with a heart – that gives 50% of it’s revenues to a charity of your choice ( can I suggest The Jennifer Trust?!)  . All you have to do is make everyclick (so far they have given away £300,000 to charity) your search engine of choice and start spreading the word. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Thank you for recommending everyclick.com, as .com CEO and founder it is great to see the message spreading. We are all about helping people to change the world one search at a time.
I believe that together we can all make a real difference, good luck to John and I hope we help him raise over £3000 for The Jennifer Trust .

Your blog is interesting and I have added it to my blog-list.

However, I only found it looking for my friend Richard Butchins. Can you get him to contact me? Tell him it is Robert King from the Scars (email: papiose@hotmail.com) – I need to contact him.

I will continue to read your blog, however, and hope the story resolves to all of our satisfactions.
