Saw a great piece this morning on portfolio careers from another source new to me – One World Wellness – Total Wellness for Women – Simplified. What with Hugh Macleod’s metaphor about the life of a crofter we now have some thoughts from people ranging from Malcolm Forbes: “The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy” to a lady, again new to me – Jill Badonsky. She says that “When you plug yourself into the dream you were meant to cultivate, it is as if you have just realigned your existence. It’s sort of chiropractic. You have clicked into the patterns of a life meant for you. You can move forward now with the natural grace of who you are. You will feel that you literally fit into a groove specifically made for your authentic reality.”
What does all of this mean? Simply that more and more people are realising the value of pursuing a portfolio career.
