Don’t go to business school

According to Seth Godin – business school is overrated. He should know – he went to Stanford. He is offering an amazing deal. Spend 6 months at his office  – you work for him and he will personally teach you everything he knows about – well marketing, sales, presentation, web 2.0 and incredible ideas. He says;

Three things you need from an MBA-like experience:

1. Education.
2. Experience.
3. Scarcity.
Some people would add (4. Connections) but I think those are overrated.
Here’s the program I’m interested in creating:
One hour a day of class/dialogue
Four hours a day of working on my projects
Three hours a day of working on your personal project
Five hours a day of living, noticing, doing and connecting

Now THAT’s a gig worth getting involved in. Working with one of the planets greatest marketers. Would be great if you are a portfolio worker or are considering a portfolio career. For 6 months. For free. Welcome to the new world of work.
