In our book we write enthusiastically about the Sliversoftime movement and there is an excellent article in todays Sunday Times by one of the founders, Wingham Rowan. He describes the frustration of helping people to sell hours of their time whilst being hidebound by a benefits system which only understands the notion of a full time ‘proper job’. It is a brilliantly creative idea. Look at their website and support it if you can.

I registered on the site back in January after seeing a press release but they do not operate in the North West – Stockport or Manchester and still cannot say when they might do.
So not the broad UK coverage that the newspaper and media articles imply. Shame really as seemed a good idea
