Not all portfolio workers are freelancers but many are and the number of freelancers are increasing in the UK and in the US. This video from Fast Company magazine outlines a few of the major issues for any freelancer. Most of us will be aware of these but for those considering it this is a useful starter. 1 in 10 workers in the US are now freelancers. What we emphasize of course is that even if you are not you need to start thinking like one.
